Roadside Station Woody Keihoku
Located in the center of the Keihoku area where the “Shuzan Kaido” (National Route 162) and National Route 477 connecting Kyoto and Wakasa intersect, the area is blessed with a rich natural environment despite being in the suburbs of a big city, including forests that produce high-quality wood such as Kitayama cedar, and the clear streams of Kami Katsura River, which is also a mecca for sweetfish fishing. Fresh locally vegetables and regional specialties are sold in this building, which is filled with the scent of wood.
